EyeFly Rig™ gives filmmakers unbelievable freedom to move independently about with more control and range from head to toe, literally, like never before. ...never, ever. Revolutionizing movement. -Stacy Poulos
I have been a photographer since I was 7 years old. I always like to say I popped out of my mother womb with a camera in my hand. My dad owned a Entertainment East Magazine, and his twin was the president of East Coast Coast Stuntmen's Association, so I got a lot of experience around the industries before I could go to school for it. I grew up knowing exactly what I wanted to be. 'Need' being the mother of all inventions, in 1986 4 years into my business Playback.net I turned a table into what I called the EyeFly Rig™. For years, it's simple design as allowed me to go from pointing straight at the ground to pointing straight to the sky running. It's also allows me the freedom to shoot 4 inches from a ground level shot (Dogs Eye View) to a head shot in a nice smooth shot then proceed to shoot the sky. Something a $250,000 steady cams can not do. Every time I would work with editors, baffled, they would ask me how I shot the footage. Of course I didn't want to create competition for myself so I didn't tell anyone. The EyeFly Rig Kitchen Sink. It's designed so you can mount several cameras on it, and lights, so as you are moving forward getting footage you can also shoot behind you or to your sides. It's nothing the industry has ever seen. Even to this day, can you shoot with such extraordinary freedom like no other. It takes practice and skills to move with it. The only thing that might have such flexibility would be a drone. But they are loud and obnoxious. Remember I have been a filmmaker / photographer since I was 7 and have known the best in the business.
Fast forward to my next challenging, my 'Need' I when to Haiti, a 3rd world Country. I didn't want to bring my big expensive camera to to be stolen. I needed to re-invent my rig so it would work with a iPhone and easy to carry and pack away. I ended up making it have one more functions I never thought of before; pointing it at myself, then proceeding to do all the other functions I mentioned. It's called the iFly Rig; Haitian.
I have always wanted to specialize in Music Videos they encompass everything I love about the industry. The smaller the budget the more creative I got when trying to produce them so I created a music video package for your most minimal conditions Called the EyeFly Music. It includes 2 Blue Tooth speakers and a a audio clip you ad to your song to prep your shooting.
I know it seams impossible and unreasonable, but if you watch the 3 videos I posted, you will see I go from ground level to a head shot. Then to create a transition in camera, I shoot panning off to the sky and spin around. These make much better edits dissolving from one scene to another. Of course I studied the music to know where I was going to do this. You become the stedycam, you tracks.

I have been a photographer since I was 7 years old. I always like to say I popped out of my mother womb with a camera in my hand. When understanding Filmmaking, smooth camera motion has always been the goal to increase 'production value'. There is far more 'motion' in filmmakeing today then of the past. The camera has always been the eye of the observer. Putting the lens in motion makes the viewer a participant of your film. Stacy Poulos Inventor and Photographer of EyeFly™ and EyeFly Cinematography™.
I have won 9 awards. In 2017 two, using the EyeFlyRig™ I rarely shoot with out it.
